The ceremony will be very traditional and semi-formal. For the reception, we want a fun party vibe. We will be using event lighting.

I really like this for a focal point.

The hall has a small cocktail hour room with couches and tables. I want to move them out into the reception area to create a lounge area near the dancefloor.

We also will be having a DIY photobooth, during cocktail hour. I will get a backdrop and some props for guests to have fun with. My sister has agreed to man the booth and take pictures. The photos will then be used for a guest book and also be uploaded on our photoshare site for guests to see. It will be similar to this knottie.

I love this and want to so something similar by the cake table.

We will have a ribbon disply like this one behind the gift table.
